Here’s a quick look at a typical timeline for a scalp micropigmentation procedure

Scalp micropigmentation, also known as SMP,  is the perfect hair loss solution for men and women belonging to all ethnicities. Much less-invasive and painless than hair transplants and far more convenient than hair extensions, scalp micropigmentation is the ideal choice for anyone looking to cover up bald spots and overcome the problem of thinning hair.

At Delaware Scalp Micropigmentation, we offer customized treatments to meet the unique needs of each individual. Our experienced practitioners determine the appropriate pigment based on your natural hair color and texture. Using the latest technology, our needle delivers 2000 microdots per square inch to the scalp. Individuals undergoing the treatment report minimum discomfort and say that the needle feels like more of an ‘annoyance’ than a ‘pricking’ sensation.

Each session typically takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on the degree of hair loss and the desired results. Our practitioners take extra care to ensure that the results are non-detectable.

The first few sessions set the basis for your scalp micropigmentation procedure. A 7 to 14-day gap is required between each session to allow the skin to settle properly in the skin.
